I am a student of NID, Ahmedabad. My project centered around exploring surface designs for tiles and had to create a new range of living room, wall and bathroom tiles with innovative texture and motifs for an upcoming luxury home called ‘Residenza’ at Bangalore.I used concepts of color psychology, color blending and mood boards to conduct a mapping of user’s activity. After doing exhaustive styling explorations, the most promising design was taken forward for detailing.
