I am a student of NID, Ahmedabad. My project is of making a range of garments for the tourists of Kerala. The idea was to provide trendy clothing solutions for tourists who felt the need to identify with and integrate into the local culture. A second aspect of my design concept was ‘reversibility’ wherein a complete new look unfolds on reversing, which includes the change of color, texture and also the silhouette.
