I worked in the design studio of Satya Paul for my project at Nid, Ahmedabad.The nouveau riche garment line was initially focused on dresses, but expanded its horizons towards different silhouettes like poncho tops, shirt dresses and Skd (salwar –kameez – dupatta). For this collection, I developed a range of garments which looked as charismatic as the signature collection, operating within budget specifications.

their detail lines. Since Satya Paul caters to a clientele of varying age group, the styles of garment cannot be similar. So, the styling is based on the client classification. I learned many new techniques such as textured foiling, flocking, hand brushstrokes as well as the art of combining different techniques in one garment so beautifully that it will automatically provide a rich look.
